Angel Stories |
Hello all you wonderful people! Summer is in full swing and as I write, I am following Hurricane Alex making fall down the Texas or Mexico coast from us. Please join me in keeping those who will feel the hurricane impact in prayer.
I will be working on an angel catalog for all of you who have requested one. I have gotten numerous calls requesting a catalog because many do not have access to a computer. I have hesitated to make a catalog because new designs are added constantly and prices change; however, many of the angels will be offered in the catalog. If you are interested in receiving one, please let me know.
I am always looking for advertising
opportunities that will reach those who love angels but do not have a computer.
I want to make my angels available to those people too. If you have
any suggestions I would love to hear from you.
Feature angel for July 2010
This gorgeous angel is about 2 1/4 inches tall with uplifting wings and embossed skirt. She is adorned with an iris flower and a pearl head with a sparkling crystal halo.
Angie
Congratulation to Sue Parrish - winner of the June Contest Angel. Her entry is as follows:
"I would like to nominate "Angie" for the June Name the Angel Contest. My friend Angie (legal name Angelina) Geddes is a very sweet and kind lady. She is 80 years old and still works full-time as a receptionist for a charitable organization. She is always encouraging and kind to everyone, even when they are not kind back to her. She and her first husband split up many years ago, and she raised her 3 children all on her own. I don't really know her 2 daughters because they live several states away, but her son is just like her. He is head of that same charitable organization and is always kind and encouraging to all of his employees. She raised him to be just like her. A few years ago, Angie was badly injured in a car accident. She fought her way back to health from that. She has had continuing pain in her back from that injury, but she has been faithful to come to work every day. She also cares for her second husband who is disabled. Angie fell recently and shattered her elbow. She is going to have surgery next week to replace her elbow. She is looking at many painful weeks of physical therapy after the surgery. When she recovers from that, and no one doubts that she will, she will be back to work answering the telephone and greeting people in the same kind and encouraging way as before. She is a living angel."
Sue, please send me your shipping address and your angel will be on her way.
