When I think about inspirational angels, I am reminded of the many bible teachers that I have had along life's journey.  My earliest recollection of my bible teacher was in the little country church where I spent the first 18 years of my life.  I remember Mrs. Polk  who taught me as a child bringing the bible stories to life using the old flannel board for illustrations.  For as long as I can remember, I have known about Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus, Moses and the bulrushes, Daniel and the lions den, Jonah and the whale,  Jacob's ladder,  and on and on.  I learned the books of the Bible by heart and won most of the bible drills.  I memorized Bible verses such as the Lord's Prayer, John 3:16, and the 23rd Psalm.  As an adult, one of my bible teachers was Dr. Henderson, who was my pastor and friend.  He taught me how to apply  the bible teachings to everyday life.  These teachers are now among the heavenly host of angels but had a profound effect on the people they touched.

These inspirational angels with crosses and Bibles are symbols of our faith.  I wish it were not too late to give one of them to my wonderful teachers to show them what their life meant to me and to thank them for being an angel to me.  I sometimes wear an angel pin or keep a inspirational angel pin in my purse to give to someone who needs some encouragement,  is experiencing some trauma  in their life, or is celebrating a special event.  I recently  was at the grocery store when I saw a young girl dressed in white with a veil and knew this must be the day she made her first communion.  I pulled a little religious angel out of my purse and gave it to her to commenorate this special day in her life.  Her little eyes lit up as she pinned the  angel pin to her white gown.  The mother and aunt who were with the little girl seemed to be especially touched with my gesture of sharing a little inspirational angel.  Needless to say, I was the one who was blessed.
